Heat and Mass Transfer to Particles in One-Dimensional Oscillating Flows

The heat and mass transfer to solid particles in one-dimensional oscillating flows are investigated this work. A meta-correlation for the calculation of Nusselt number (Sherwood number) is derived by comparing 33 correlations data point sets from experiments simulations. These models all unified their dependencies on amplitude parameter 10−3≤ϵ≤103 Reynolds 10−1≤Re≤106, while ϵ-Re plane applied as a framework order graphically display various models. This first study consider problem entire quantitatively taking preexisting asymptotic areas into account.
